As immigrants the entire process seemed very daunting, but Penny made everything easy, guiding us each step of the way. She didn't just help by providing listings and accompanying us in the visits, she also helped us with the financial aspects (finding a bank), with the home inspection and with all the paperwork. She went beyond our expectations. Thanks for the assistance Penny and thank you for helping us find our home.

My husband was transferred to Louisville through his work. I was not ready to make the move because I really loved my home and loved my friends and family. We had registered through a website and found Penny. She stayed in touch with us until we were ready to come to town to look. When we were finally able to make it to Louisville, we were in a major hurry. She said that she would do what it takes to help us find a home that weekend. She was true to her word. We were in and out of about 25 homes in two days. She talked us into looking at one that was not on our list. It turned out to be the perfect home. We decided to sell the home that we raised our children in. We had talked to several Realtors and were not happy with what we were being told. We remembered the one that had helped our daughter find a home. We asked Penny to come out and take a look at our home. She was optimistic and was sure we could get what we were asking. She came out the next day to take photos and get our home listed on the MLS. While she was taking photos, we heard her talking to someone on the phone about our home. She said she was taking pictures of a home that would be perfect for that person. We were so impressed by her trying to get our home sold so quickly. When my home sold quicker than I expected it to, my financing was complete for my new home. Penny negotiated with the buyers of my home and the sellers of my new home. I was able to get moved when the time was right for everyone. What a life saver.

I decided to buy a new construction home and did not hire an agent. Even though I had spoken with Penny before, I thought that I could handle a builder and was told that I would get a better price without an agent. That was a bad mistake on my part. My home was supposed to have been finished in two weeks so I decided it was time to put my home on the market. My home sold in less than 24 hours. I still thought that this was ok. Unfortunately, my builder stopped working on my new home and was working on other homes that he thought needed to be built quicker than mine. We were given excuse after excuse as to why our home was not being completed. Penny explained that she was unable to negotiate for us with the builder since we had not hired her as a buyer's agent. However, she gave us some valuable advice. We were able to get the builder back on track and ended up getting a better deal in the process. I will never again purchase a home without the help of Penny.

I didn't think that I could buy a home. I had been turned down for financing and told Penny that I didn't qualify. She asked me a few questions and then put me in touch with a loan officer. To our surprise, we were approved for a mortgage and we began looking for homes immediately. It didn't take long for us to find the right home for us. Penny Cartwright was amazing right out of the gate. She explained everything in great detail and kept us informed on all important topics. Penny was incredible. She was so knowledgeable regarding the areas I was interested in. After showing me different homes she was able to narrow my searches to homes that I was interested in. I was a first time buyer and really wasn't sure what was available. She would point out possible issues with homes that I never even thought about. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!
